If an IT company is going to venture into the DR business then they need to accommodate for these sorts of conditions (eg: poor power supply). The UPS/battery and power fail-safe technology is available and also tried and tested.

If Datec is having issues with providing quality power to it's DR infrastructure then can I suggest that Datec itself is neglecting the upgrade and provision of suitable UPS, battery and generator hardware for its DR Center.

This article clearly demonstrates why I would never physically locate a website on PNG soil. If they can't guarantee 24x7 for big business then how are they going to provide availability to the smaller user.

RAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5912948173537958728.post-19449253323160448072009-01-21T21:26:00.000+10:002009-01-21T21:26:00.000+10:00Thanks for the correction Malum I have amended the...Thanks for the correction Malum I have amended the post accordingly. Great little tool and it could end up saving you quite a lot of Kina. Microfinance is a splendid concept to reach the poor and enable them to break out of poverty.

I think the success of microfinance banking in PNG is dependent on a number of factors including access to information. Most rural Papua New Guineans still have to understand how they can benefit from microfinance banking. It is thriving and expanding really fast in urban centers reaching out to most in the settlements and outskirts of the city. But there is still a large majority of people in the rural areas that don't have access to microfinance banks and information on how they can participate and benefit.

Just my two toea thoughts!skanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15803756382609772575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5912948173537958728.post-71745563726584672452009-01-09T10:35:00.000+10:002009-01-09T10:35:00.000+10:00Precisely why I don't venture anywhere near Face B...Precisely why I don't venture anywhere near Face Book - security reasons.

The CIA has a financial stake in Face Book, which technically, is not a social-networking sight but a DATABASE.

The only difference is that 150 million people are uploading their information VOLUNTARILY.

Genius.

Aren't you glad now that you're not on Face Book?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5912948173537958728.post-66763402269960913692009-01-06T07:02:00.000+10:002009-01-06T07:02:00.000+10:00Hope the internal fares drop. If they decide to somehow configure the extension to not share, they'll be punished by the trackers and the extension won't really work so well (give and thou shall receive), and if it did, it'd just screw everyone up because there'd be too many leechers and very few seeds.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5912948173537958728.post-87359198899434518282008-12-23T23:18:00.000+10:002008-12-23T23:18:00.000+10:00windows 7 yepp :Dwindows 7 yepp :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5912948173537958728.post-6993641826545501482008-12-16T08:42:00.000+10:002008-12-16T08:42:00.000+10:00Hi Wantok,Thanks for adding me to your blog list a...Hi Wantok,

Thanks for adding me to your blog list and I've added you to mine in reciprocation.
